Careers

Help us fix the month‑twelve problem.

We're a small team building AI that keeps GLP‑1 patients on therapy, from first dose through month twelve.

How we work

Small, senior, close to the patient

We keep the team small and senior. Everyone works directly with the clinic owners and med spa operators who run on the product, owns problems end to end, and ships fast. There are no layers between the person building a feature and the person relying on it to keep a patient on therapy.

We're AI-native by conviction, not by trend. Gigi texts every patient 24/7, through side effects, plateaus, and refill gaps, and we hold our own work to the same standard: if a machine can do it well, it should, so people can spend their time on judgment.

Senior Backend Engineer, Platform

Engineering · Remote, Eastern hours · Full-time

You'll own the systems behind a patient-facing messaging agent: Gigi's 24/7 SMS loop, the red-flag escalation pipeline, per-clinic data isolation, and the audit-ready message log clinics rely on. It's a small system with real patients on the other end, so the engineering bar is high and the surface area is yours.

What you'll do

  • Keep Gigi's SMS loop fast and reliable around the clock
  • Build the escalation pipeline that routes red flags to clinic staff in minutes
  • Design org-scoped data models so every clinic's patient book stays cleanly isolated
  • Enforce TCPA, quiet hours, and opt-out handling at the platform level
  • Add the tracing and observability that make webhook-driven, multi-agent flows debuggable
  • Scale our Cloud Run workloads without burning money on idle compute

Technologies we use

  • Python and FastAPI on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Firestore, Secret Manager)
  • Twilio for SMS, Anthropic Claude for our agents (Gigi, Lettie)
  • Stripe for billing, Jinja2 and vanilla JS on the frontend

What we value

  • A bias towards defensive code: anything that can go wrong will, and this system messages patients
  • Empathy for non-technical users. Clinic owners, nurses, and front desk staff feel every technical decision you make
  • Ability to pick up new technology and concepts quickly, even without in-depth prior experience
  • Solutions that centralize and abstract complexity away, exposing simple, powerful interfaces

What we require

  • 5+ years designing, building, and operating production backend systems
  • Strong Python, plus experience running cloud infrastructure you were on the hook for
  • Comfort owning problems end to end on a very small team

Compensation

  • $190,000 to $240,000 base
  • Full health coverage and a home office budget

Forward Deployed Engineer

Product · Remote, travel to client sites · Full-time

You're the engineer our clinics actually meet. You'll take Gigi into real weight-loss clinics and med spas: onboard the org, tune the playbook to their protocols and tone, set escalation rules with their clinical staff, and carry what you learn back into the product.

What you'll do

  • Run onboardings end to end, from patient-book import to the first save
  • Adapt Gigi's playbooks per clinic: titration schedules, refill workflows, escalation thresholds
  • Wire integrations against real, messy clinic operations
  • Prototype against live patient conversations, with the compliance guardrails on
  • Be the person a clinic calls when something matters

Technologies we use

  • Python, REST APIs and webhooks
  • Prompt engineering with Anthropic Claude, Twilio SMS

What we value

  • A highly analytical approach to messy operational problems
  • Comfort iterating with users in a dynamic environment with evolving objectives
  • Fluency translating between clinicians and engineers, they rarely speak the same language
  • No patience for "that's how patient outreach has always been done"
  • Understanding of cash-pay clinic or med spa operations is a real advantage

What we require

  • 2+ years of experience in software or data roles
  • Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar
  • Ability and interest to travel up to 25% to client sites

Compensation

  • $160,000 to $205,000 base
  • Travel fully covered
  • Full health coverage and a home office budget

Sales

Sales · In office, New York (Manhattan) · Full-time

You'll partner with weight-loss clinics and med spas to change how they keep patients on therapy, working directly with the founder. It's a relationship-driven industry and a technical product, so you'll need to hold your own with the owner, the practice manager, and the medical director in the same meeting.

What you'll do

  • Own engagements from first meeting through close
  • Build customer profiles: how the clinic runs its program, where patients drop, and what a lost month costs them
  • Set and run the strategy for growing our presence across weight-loss clinics and med spas
  • Get deep on the product and the retention math behind it
  • Meet or exceed defined metrics by securing contracts

What we value

  • A track record of closing net new B2B deals
  • Articulating impact to clinical and non-clinical audiences alike
  • Skill in identifying client needs and aligning them with what the product actually does
  • Strong interpersonal intuition: spotting the decision maker inside a practice
  • Adaptive and introspective, willing to learn, guide, lead, and follow

What we require

  • 5+ years of outbound B2B sales experience focused on closing net new business
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York. This role is in office in Manhattan
  • Ability to travel to clinics and industry events per business needs
  • Familiarity with med spa, telehealth, or healthcare SaaS is a strong plus

Compensation

  • $120,000 to $150,000 base
  • Uncapped commission, on-target earnings of $250,000 or more
  • Full health coverage and a Manhattan office

To apply
